Shine With Purpose presents the annual “Loomis Day Before Thanksgiving” Parade! This is a great family fun event that benefits the many kids in need in our community this holiday season. This year, they are also holding a small vendor fair near a Pictures with Santa booth, so bring those kiddos, and let’s have some holiday and get this season started right!
Throwing candy is not permitted, but walkers in the parade may hand out candy along the parade route. All parade entries must clean up their trash and animal droppings before, during, and after the parade. Bring a toy donation!

The family-friendly activity fun run benefits the Twin Lakes Food Bank, a faith-based, non-profit organization whose mission is to share God’s love by mobilizing the community to provide food and support to those in need in our community.
Folsom Turkey Trot aims to encourage youth participation, hoping that the experience will teach kids that it is not about winning the race but doing their best to complete a set goal. A portion of the proceeds will support the Twin Lakes Food Bank and the “Not in Our Town/Not in Our School” youth scholarship program.
