This 5-mile run/walk is the oldest running event in the city. It appeals to competitive and casual runners as well as walkers. Join us to honor the 4th of July national holiday and to enjoy the companionship of fellow runners and walkers.

Registration for this race is free for runners and walkers. There will be no finisher medals and no free shirts (bring your own!).

While the event is free, donations to the American River Parkway Foundation and WEAVE (Women Escaping A Violent Environment) are strongly encouraged. You will find donation boxes at the Waiver table on race day. Both cash and check payments will be accepted. A minimum donation of $5 is suggested.

You can also donate online to the American River Parkway Association here or to WEAVE here.
