Even in these challenging times we are going to bring some joy to deserving children during the holiday season!
We are excited for this year’s Kid’s Shopping Day, with some changes for safety. For the children, this is a chance to ask for new clothes, shoes, and essentials for themselves during the holiday season. For the adult volunteers, it is an amazing opportunity to help bring joy to Roseville children.
Due to our ongoing public health situation we are changing how we will do our shopping days this year. The details:
• We will be shopping on December 4th and December 11th.
• We will be asking you to sign up for shifts between 6 AM and 12 PM.
• Rather than having the child with you, you will be shopping for the child with a list of items that they need. We will then take the bag from you and deliver to the child’s school the following week.
• You do not have to shop in pairs this year, but please have a friend sign up with you and you can both shop for your own individual child.
The Tommy Apostolos Foundation is committed to providing a safe and healthy event for all our guests. This event will observe state and local health guidelines to minimize the risk of transmission of COVID-19, in accordance with the most recent CDC guidelines.
You must sign up for a time slot to shop. There will be no walk-ins allowed.
Join us on the best day of the year. You won’t be sorry you volunteered!
Please let us know if you have any questions!
