Join us on July 4, 2022, as we celebrate Independence Day at the park. California’s Great America is the perfect place to celebrate with family, friends, great food, and of course, dazzling 4th of July fireworks.
After a day of riding roller coasters and having a splashing good time in South Bay Shores, sit back, relax, and enjoy our spectacular 4th of July fireworks display set to a patriotic soundtrack in the skies above the Flight Deck rollercoaster. The best spots to see all the action are on the midway plaza in front of Flight Deck or in the Redwood Amphitheater. Fireworks start at 9:45 p.m. and will be complemented by a patriotic soundtrack.
Leave The Grilling To Us
In addition to the great fireworks show, no July 4th celebration would be complete without a delicious Backyard Cookout. Join us for an “All You Can Eat” feast of classic favorites right off the grill including juicy burgers, hot dogs, BBQ chicken, and more. Tickets for the All You Can Eat Backyard Cookout are available at the park for $29.99.

Great America is the only waterpark and amusement park in one in Northern California! South Bay Shores features 15 full acres of slides and splashes! Spend the day lounging in the lazy river or enjoying the thrills of our collection of roller coasters before watching our amazing fireworks show.
