LA Art Kids is a non-profit corporation dedicated to exposing kids to art. It was founded by professional artist Joshua Rogers (www.joshuarogersart.com) residing in the famous Brewery Artist Lofts, on the east side of Downtown LA. The goal of these sessions is to put kids in the driver’s seat when it comes to making art. We will give them professional (safe) materials, the same ones we use, and the space and encouragement to start making art. The kids will be provided with 2 2’ x 2’ canvases, brushes, and communal tubes of acrylic paint. They will draw inspiration from the art that is all around them, as this is the Studio and Gallery of Joshua Rogers.
