Guided by the principles of Dr. Maria Montessori, our mission at Rocklin Montessori is to provide an authentic Montessori experience in a safe, caring and beautifully prepared classroom environment. Our goal is to educate the whole individual through the Montessori approach which addresses the intellectual, emotional, social and physical needs of each child, encouraging the child’s curiosity and independent thinking to foster self-discipline and a life-long love of learning. And so we discovered that education is not something which the teacher does, but that it is a natural process which develops spontaneously in the human being. Here at Pacific Oaks Preschool, we offer a variety of programs including part-time preschool classes in the morning or afternoon as well as parent participation classes.

We recognize that play is the work of children and they learn best through hands-on experience. Our curriculum is child-centered and play-based. Children at our center learn to think, reason, question and experiment as they participate in hands on activities with a variety of open-ended materials. We do not use a formal, structured academic approach to learning. Instead, We provide an environment where children are free to experiment, try new things, make mistakes, investigate and learn self-discipline.

We believe in and will provide an anti-bias curriculum that offers opportunities for kids to observe and practice patience, kindness, empathy, conflict resolution, tolerance, and respect in order to foster these qualities as their developing social skills emerge.

We offer a developmentally appropriate blend of child and teacher directed activities that will build skills in language, science, math, creative art, social interactions, music and movement, and large and fine motor development. We know that kids need to move, and they learn from play and exploration, therefore we offer a variety of activities that provide an outlet for these needs.

Our daycare has educated hundreds of children since 1990, and was founded by Debbie & Ross Miller. Parents of six wonderful  children and four grandchildren. Debbie, a former elementary school teacher decided to opened up her own Preschool and daycare. Our daycare center focuses on problem solving, decision making and self-help, while promoting interpersonal communications. These are key elements which contribute to the child`s development, self esteem and confidence.

Our Core Knowledge curriculum is align with the Rocklin school district standards. We specialize in Kindergarten readiness skills. Each school day features hands on fun through messy art and creative science. Creative Day Preschool & Day Care is a family owned and operated Preschool & Day care.

Friends Preschool is dedicated to giving each child the very best preschool experience. Research stresses the importance of early childhood education, as birth to five years is a vitally significant time. Our developmental, anti-bias and multicultural curriculum is child centered, hands-on, experiential, project based and fun! Our mission is to support and enhance social/emotional functions including respect for oneself and for others, cognitive/academic functions including skill building and critical thinking, and the child’s innate curiosity and creativity.

Fast Track Hobbies is a full line hobby shop and Slot Car Raceway! We have R/C Cars, Boats, Planes, Helis, Slot Cars and just about anything else you can think of. We have balsa, carbon fiber, hardware, rubber band powered cars, mousetrap powered cars, pinewood derby, paints, rockets, Mission Supplies, learning and teaching kits and toys.

At Fast Track Hobbies, we have a variety of things to keep you entertained.   We have slot car tracks, an r/c rock crawler course and loads and loads of pit space.  We have weekly races and events, birthday parties and conferences.

Cattlemens serves hand-cut, aged on the premises, all natural Harris Ranch beef in all 8 locations. In today`s busy world meat cutting and aging beef is a lost art but you`ll find it here at Cattlemens under a carefully controlled environment.

Cattlemens is a casual, western-themed steakhouse chain. Founded in 1968 by a father-son team with decades of experience in the cattle business, eight locations now serve California. Still family-owned and operated, each location follows the “Cattlemens Code,” offering the feel and flavor of the old west, aged and hand-cut beef, the finest ingredients, and old-fashioned Western hospitality.
