Montessori Children`s School (MCS) offers a toddler, preschool, and kindergarten program for ages 18 months to 6 years. Our program consists of three classes, focusing on the Montessori methods and philosophy of teaching and child development. The Montessori Theory, developed in the 1800s, is about how kids learn more by discovering on their own than by being told. We strive to provide a safe, welcoming environment for you children to learn and explore their world!

Our transitional preschool is designed for children who have developed skills that let them work independently in the environment but with a shorter work time. Children in this class spend some of their morning working in large groups, circle time activities, yoga and teacher directed art. Their Montessori work time is about 90 minutes per day. Our primary class is best for children who are moving towards a longer work time, usually 2 1/2 to 3 hours per day.
