Single Mom Strong is a nonprofit organization that exists for the empowerment of single mothers and their children, through enrichment, encouragement and educational programs. We offer several events each month, including a Mother and Child event, where our moms and children spend quality time together in an enriching environment, a Mom’s Night Out, where our moms enjoy a well-deserved break with their peers, and Empowerment Workshops, where our moms are provided a resource, with subjects like family law, financial planning, etc. or taught a skill, like budgeting or goal setting.

Through these events, we have created a “village” of single mothers in support of one another. In our Empowerment Center, we also offer support groups, book club and fit club events. Single Mom Strong’s EmpowerME Preschool & Childcare programs address the lack of quality, affordable childcare in the region. We offer week-long summer camps and year-round preschool and after-school programs that reinforce values and improve literacy in our children.
