High Scope & S.T.E.M. Based Learning Environment

Innovative Scholar Academy is a start-up organization exclusively for kid`s from the age of 2 through entry into 1st grade. The Academy dedicates its efforts and resources toward ensuring top-rated care giving services. This is coupled with a high-quality, High Scope and the introduction to a S.T.E.M based learning environment tailored for children in this age group. The Academy will respond to the needs of its parents and students with excellent care-giving, instruction in advanced curriculum, flexible programs, local community involvement and business partnerships.

Innovative Scholar Academy curriculum is influenced by both High Scope and S.T.E.M learning styles. Our students will be introduced to activities of learning including social, emotional, language and literacy, creative arts, math, science, physical and health.

• Large Group Time – Children participate in songs, stories, flannel board, and movement activities.
• Small Group Time – In small groups, children actively participate in teacher introduced activities that may include cooking, art, movement, motor, or cognitive skills.
• Planning – Children choose an activity in one of the areas of the classroom to participate during work.
• Work Time – Children carry out their plans by building, painting, counting, dressing-up, etc. Teachers act as facilitators by becoming part of the child’s play and enhancing and extending the child’s skills through play, exploration, and language.
• Clean-Up Time – Children restore order to the classroom by returning items to their proper places, using labels as guides.
• Recall – Children actively review what they have done during work time.

We take subsidized programs such as Child Action and Child Care Aware of America families.
