American River Montessori offers school programs for Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten to students 2-1/2 to 6-years-old. We also provide Tutoring in both small group and one-on-one sessions, as well as a variety of Summer Camps and Programs.
We strive to provide a stimulating environment so your child can develop to his or her fullest potential. To do this, we teach by the Montessori philosophy.
Dr. Maria Montessori discovered that children – especially preschoolers – learn through their five senses. Dr. Montessori developed individual learning tasks or “jobs” to promote active learning for daily life, sensorial skills, language, math, art and culture.
