After competing on swim teams as a child and then taking the WSI (WATER SAFETY INSTRUCTOR) classes at 18, she worked for the City of Rocklin and the City of Lincoln teaching Lifeguarding courses and safety classes. Over the past 25 years she has taught in various programs, as well as at her home during the summers. In 2007 she decided to `take the plunge` and open her own Swim School. Her goal has always been to help children learn swimming and safety skills.

After playing football in high school and at Lake Forest College, he began to coach basketball teams and facilitate sports camps. Eventually he realized that he loved working with children. Since he enjoyed swimming and teaching children he soon started teaching swim here at Starfish Swim school.Swimmers flourish in the intimate, calm setting. we offer kind and dedicated one-on-one instruction.
