American Montessori Academy, of Roseville, CA., is a year-round licensed and certified school teaching in the tradition of Dr. Maria Montessori. In following proper Montessori principles, we offer a non-competitive academic curriculum with measurable goals that encourages exploration, independent study, and self-confidence, set in a community that celebrates diversity and demonstrates a respect for others. Our classrooms are bright and cheery, and led by certified lead teachers, or “guides.” Children are grouped across a two-to-three year age span, and personally challenged at his or her own level by a curriculum that integrates core knowledge areas, while fostering the collaborative, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills necessary to succeed throughout life.
