Sacramento Charter High School is a school of excellence and high expectations. SHPS expects that all SCHS scholars will graduate from high school having completed an A-G college-preparatory curriculum necessary for admission to the University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) systems. Recognizing that UC/CSU systems accept credit for courses where scholars earn a 70% or better, we require students to earn at least 70% in order to get credit for a course.
At Sacramento High School, the motto is “Service for Others.” Through community service, students develop a strong sense of civic responsibility while giving back to the community in which they live.
