The ESC initiative is a collaboration of organizations, dental providers, dental insurance plans, and State agencies coming together in Sacramento County to increase access to dental care and reduce dental disease for child and adults through education, outreach, innovative dental services, and connecting the medical and dental professions in a single message of total health which includes oral health.
This initiative is also focused on educating parents about the Medi?Cal Dental Program that is included as a Medi?Cal benefit and how to navigate the system to get the care the family needs.
