Helping Children Who Have a Family Member With Cancer
Just for Kids helps healthy children, ages 5-12, who have an immediate family member undergoing cancer treatment. There is no cost to the family. The program meets 6-8 times a year. The children are mentored by Key Club members from El Camino Fundamental, Rio Americano, Mira Loma, and Rosemont High Schools. Just for Kids began in 1986 as one of the American Cancer Society’s children’s programs. It is now run by Sacramento Suburban Kiwanis.
