Empowering Possibilities International Charter
We offer a standards based Physical Education program for all students two times per week. We also participate in the California Physical Fitness test for grades 5 and 7. Every classroom implements the Capturing Kids` Hearts (CKH) EXCEL model. Every class has it`s own Social Contract, uses the hand signals of t-out, checking, and fouls.
All staff members use the four questions to redirect student misbehavior.
We offer Spanish and Russian at this time. Grades K-2 receive daily foreign language instruction and grades 3-8 receive instruction two days per week. Because there is not a high demand for Spanish at this time it is run online through Rosetta Stone and can be accessed at home and school. The Russian program is taught by Russian speaking paraeducators.
