Rancho Cordova Fourth of July returns with many old favorites and new adventures. Join the All America Mile Road Race and Fourth of July parade on Coloma Road, plus carnival rides, concerts, cold beer and fireworks in Hagan Park. Rancho Cordova’s Parade is famous for its hometown flavor. So don’t be surprised if you see your next door neighbor decked out in a wacky Uncle Sam get-up for the trip down Coloma.

Celebrate this Independence Day by supporting the Elk Grove Run 4 Hunger. This July 4th Run or Walk a 5K or 10K in the greater Sacramento area supports the Elk Grove Food Bank Services. 2022 will mark the 18th year of this important fundraiser. This is an event for everybody in the family. Strollers and dogs are welcome!
This year participants in the 5K/10K will receive a medal, shirt, and commemorative bib. Arrive early so you have plenty of time to park. The annual 4th on the Field celebration presented by Xfinity is back this July with food trucks, fireworks and family fun events, and activities in Sacramento. There will be various competitions throughout the night including a potato sack race and contests. Food trucks line the warning track of the field as well as on the concourse so there will be many options to taste some great food!
Your little ones will enjoy the kids’ area with a splash pad, play structure, and whiffle ball court, as well as some fun activities. Adults will enjoy the live music on second base brought to you by Rod Stinson Band plus a beer garden featuring local craft beers open on the concourse level as part of the Independence Day celebration in Sacramento. This 5-mile run/walk is the oldest running event in the city. It appeals to competitive and casual runners as well as walkers. This is one of the events and activities in Sacramento honoring the 4th of July national holiday and enjoying the companionship of fellow runners and walkers.
