On May 21, 2023, the Wender Weis Foundation for Children’s (WWFC) proudly presents Children’s Champions with a 2023-style family-friendly afternoon of sports, activities, art, snacks, and philanthropy in East Palo Alto. The event will feature:
- Interactive sports stations with athletes from Stanford University as well as some of your favorite Bay Area professional sports teams;
- Photo opportunities and laughs with team mascots and sports heroes;
- Arts and crafts for all ages, featuring creativity stations and more;
- Outdoor fun with bubbles, obstacle courses, and old-fashioned summer camp style games; and
- An amazing afternoon of family time that also supports underserved families in our community!
