Hosted by the Old Town Elk Grove Foundation, the Dickens Street Faire is one of Elk Grove’s signature holiday activities and top annual events, marking the beginning of the Yuletide season in the city for the last 36 years. The annual event — held annually on the first Saturday following Thanksgiving — fills the streets of Elk Grove’s Historic District with free, family-friendly holiday activities, appearances by Santa and Mrs. Claus, carolers, festive storefronts and plenty of holiday cheer.
