A fun exploration of everything art!!
We will explore using various mediums, materials, and tools. Besides painting, we will dabble in drawing, print, collage, paint pouring, art journaling, mixed media, and her favorite, Art created with recycled materials. Students are encouraged to develop Art they want to recreate by experimenting with different mediums. Who knows, we might end up with beautiful Art by mistake!
Carolyn’s class size is small, so each student receives special attention. At the same time, she uses Common Core Standards as inspiration for the classes in this class.
The Art we create is always different. We also switch up the mediums. We do not always list the class type on our Calendar, so… Surprise!
It is typical for projects to be in different stages of completion at the end of classes. Sometimes we might be working on two projects at the same time. So kids may not go home with a completed project after each class.
These classes are open to the public (Ages 11-18). Homeschoolers can use the vouchers they receive from the school.
