The Bohart Museum has had a long history of education and outreach to the public. From Dr. Bohart identifying insects that kids would bring to him in jars to our current programs that reach over 10,000 people each year. If you don’t see what you are looking for in these pages, please contact the Bohart and the Education and Outreach Coordinator will be happy to discuss new opportunities with you.

Individuals, families, and friends are welcome to visit  for free.

Our museum is  an active work area, so don’t be surprised  if you see  someone sorting insects at a microscope or creating labels on a computer. You are welcome to ask them what they are doing!
