As the executive director of all six (and growing) Kid`s Camp locations, Kittie Emami is passionate and energetic about offering quality, affordable child care that meets parent`s and children`s needs. She grew up in nearby Rancho Cordova, where her mom was an in-home daycare provider. In high school, an influential teacher steered her toward her first visit to a preschool.
She was hooked.
She studied child development in community college. She then gained strong management skills by serving as a division head in the corporate world for many years. She was thrilled to come back to child care when she joined Kid`s Camp in 2006. “It was the chance of a lifetime to return to a business I love,” Kittie said.
