Musical Mayhem Productions, Inc. proudly opened our doors in June of 2012 and has successfully produced over 150 Broadway Jr. and Kids performance workshops/summer camps in Elk Grove and Sacramento. Our first production, Disney’s The Jungle Book, had nine cast members and performed four shows for about 500 audience members. Our largest production to date, Disney Frozen, Jr. (November 2019), had 123 cast members and reached over 4,000 audience members for its six show run!

DRAMA DAYS CAMP – 4yr – 10yr olds, Mon – Fri 9:00am – 12:00pm

Get ready to sing, dance, and create at our magical Half-Day Summer Camp! Designed for young performers ages 4-10, our week-long camps are bursting with fun and creativity. Each day, our experienced teachers will lead campers in learning a dynamic dance to a hit song from a beloved animated movie (think Disney, Shrek, and more!) that fits the week’s exciting theme. We’ll also get crafty, creating art projects inspired by the music. Beyond the dance moves, campers will participate in engaging theatre warm-ups and games to boost their confidence and teamwork skills. Then, get ready for the grand finale!

On Friday, our campers will shine on stage, performing all five dances for family and friends. With a maximum student to teacher ratio of 1/10, each child will receive personalized attention and make lasting memories. Each camper will be provided with a camp t-shirt for the final performance. Join us for a summer of song, dance, and unforgettable fun! This camp will feature songs all about friendship!

Come experience the magic of Broadway in just one week! Our intensive Performance Camp offers an exciting opportunity for young performers to bring a full Broadway Jr. musical to life. In just five days, campers will immerse themselves in the world of theater, collaborating with experienced instructors to rehearse, learn music, master choreography, and develop their acting skills.  From auditions to curtain call, campers will be guided through the entire production process, culminating in a full-scale performance of a Broadway Jr. show. (no preparation is necessary for auditions – all materials will be taught) This fast-paced and dynamic camp is perfect for students of all experience levels who are passionate about musical theater. Join us for a week of singing, dancing, acting, and creating memories that will last a lifetime!

Cast is called at 11:00am on show day! Cast members will be provided with a camp t-shirt for our performance. Our performances will be held at the Cosumnes Oaks High School Black Box Theatre – tickets are $15 for all audience members.

DISNEY’S DARE TO DREAM, JR. – July 14th – 19th, 2025
This camp ends with two public performances on Saturday July 19th at 2pm and 6pm
Disney’s Dare to Dream JR. is a 60-minute musical revue that follows an eager group of trainees on their first day at a fictional Walt Disney Imagineering Studio. As the group sets out to help each other discover their dreams, they work together to explore the power of dreams to unite, inspire, and make anything possible. Drawing from a century of beloved Disney films, Dare to Dream JR. features songs appearing for the first time ever in a Disney stage musical, including fan-favorites from The Princess and the Frog, Coco, Encanto, and Frozen II. This musical revue is a thrilling mix of contemporary songs, timeless classics, and brand-new medleys that are sure to surprise and delight Disney lovers of all ages.

SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK, LIVE! JR. – July 21st – 26th, 2025
This camp ends with two public performances on Saturday July 26th at 2pm and 6pm
Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr follows Tom, a young schoolteacher, who is nervous about his first day of teaching. He tries to relax by watching TV, when various characters representing facets of his personality emerge from the set and show him how to win his students over with imagination and music. Memorable songs as “Just a Bill,” “Lolly, Lolly, Lolly” and “Conjunction Junction” bring his lesson plans vividly to life.

Please join us for our exciting Musical Theater Dance Intensives!  These dynamic classes offer a fantastic opportunity to dive into the world of musical theater choreography. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to hone your skills, we have a class for you.

Beginning Intensives (Ages 8-18): Perfect for students of all skill levels, these classes introduce you to the fundamentals of musical theater dance.
Advanced Intensives (Ages 12-18): Designed for experienced dancers, these classes offer challenging choreography and focus on advanced technique.

Each intensive class focuses on learning a dance routine from a popular musical theater show within a fast-paced, one-hour and forty-five-minute session. Classes begin with a quick physical warm-up to get your body ready to move, followed by intensive instruction on the choreography. The best part? Each class is a standalone session! Sign up for just one class to try it out or commit to the whole week to really grow as a dancer. In the final five minutes of each class, the entire routine will be filmed and the video sent directly to participants, allowing you to practice and share your progress.
