The centerpiece of our preschool program is learning to be a community. Every member of the community is valuable and contributes in his or her own way. During meal and play times the children are mixed with ages from two-years-old through kindergarten. The older children are role models and examples to the younger ones.
They learn independence and important social lessons about caring, cooperation, compromise, and responsibility. Native American traditions are incorporated throughout the daily schedule and curriculum such as learning to count in English, Me-Wuk and Spanish as well as singing Native songs before mealtimes.
