Peekadoodle offers a variety of educational and developmentally appropriate programs for toddlers and preschoolers. Our curriculum centers on the whole child through creating a balance of both guided exploration and learning through play.

We are inspired and influenced by leading Early Childhood philosophies to create a diverse, layered, and meaningful opportunity to engage in learning across all disciplines. Pulling from the practices of Montessori, Reggio Emilia, play-based learning, and the developmental continuum, our philosophy creates opportunities to stretch but not stress the young learner.

Philosophy

Peekadoodle uses a Balanced Approach to teaching and learning in the early years. This means that we do not subscribe to one particular philosophy to facilitate learning experiences, but rather pull inspiration and influence from many of the leaders in the field. By crafting an approach with what we consider to be the most powerful parts of these philosophies, we provide an unparalleled perspective of early childhood education.
Through our Balanced Approach, the children of Peekadoodle interact with a diverse array of learning experiences that teach them how they learn best. By exploring sensory experiences, tactile learning, kinesthetic motor plans, and artistic expression, children are exposed to a dynamic interdisciplinary curriculum.
