Mission Statement: Our mission at Almaden Soccer is to support the growth and holistic development of players of all ages and provide unique playing opportunities at all levels. We are a club, not just a team.

Almaden Soccer was founded as a non-profit organization in 1967. Since then we have expanded our club to serve both recreational and competitive players. We are dedicated to developing all of our players both on and off the field and unlike other youth soccer clubs, emphasize the importance of enjoyment within soccer regardless of program affiliation.

We provide unique soccer opportunities for players of all levels: Juniors: 3-6-year-old program providing a quality introduction to soccer providing a basic understanding of the game but also core motor skills vital for children at this age through fun games, personable coaches, and a specially designed curriculum Recreation: the 5-16-year-old program designed for players looking for fun, fitness, and friendship from the game. Our non-competitive program delivers regular training provided by volunteer coaches who are lead by our competitive program technical team with coach education sessions and a centralized training program. In addition to this support, we provide families an opportunity to request to play with friends. No scores are held, no league tables are forged. Our recreation program is for fun, fitness, and friendship.

Competitive: Our competitive program currently supports 63 teams from 6-16 years old playing across Northern California. Players in this program will be playing competitively against other clubs across the northern part of our state and given professional coaching delivered by highly qualified coaches with a curriculum developed by Almaden FC Technical Director, John Devine (Ex-Arsenal player & Manchester United Technical Director for Ireland). Johns program provides players unbelievable and realistic quality of play designed for development of both technical and tactical elements of the game.

FC Bayern Programming: In association with Global Premier Soccer and FC Bayern we are able to provide a unique Elite Player Program for players aged 8-14. Players who meet the minimum level of experience and quality will be given an opportunity to train with the best players in Northern California and travel with the teams formed from these ID programs for FC Bayern West with a chance to be selected for technical visits to Munich for the top players in the u11/u12 categories and a chance to play for the GPS FC Bayern National team across the world.
