Celebrate America is a community event celebrating our great nation. This event brings many neighboring cities together to enjoy a show including aerial fireworks, a tribute to the military, patriotic musical favorites presented by a large choir, and stirring reenactments of historic moments in our nation’s history.
Celebrate America also includes an expanded Kid Zone, a pre-show line-up of bands and local talent, and great food vendors. This presentation is produced and sponsored by Destiny Community Center. Please note that fireworks will take place on both nights. There is something for the whole family!

The Rancho Cordova 4th of July Independence Day Celebration in the Sacramento area boasts a variety of family-friendly events and activities, including a one-mile road race and parade down Coloma Road, plus nightly concerts and carnival rides in Hagan Park. Give it a try when Sky Drifters brings a pair of colorful and stunning balloons for tethered rides from 4-8 p.m. (or as weather permits). The rides are FREE of charge in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the City of Rancho Cordova.
The glorious 4th of July celebration in the greater Sacramento area will also feature music, drone show exhibitions, and fireworks displays specially selected and choreographed and then woven together to celebrate the 20 Years: Million Dreams theme. Fireworks this year will be on the south and north sides of the pond, and a fully choreographed show will now be on the Regal Cinemas Theater Rooftop, which is new this year! You will be able to watch from multiple locations. Enjoy electrifying performances by Island of Black and White in the EDH Town Center Amphitheater from 8-11 pm, and groove to the sounds of the Funk Shui Band in the Theater Plaza from 6-9:30 pm.
The Kids Zone is packed with excitement, including bounce houses, face painting, balloon artists, a DJ spinning tunes, hosting games, and giving away fantastic prizes. Grab your Kids Zone wristbands early. They are on sale until 3 pm on July 3rd at the California Welcome Center in Town Center. Wristbands will be available at the H4H booth at the event. Proceeds will benefit Hands4Hope-Youth Making a Difference, a locally youth-run nonprofit.

The Folsom Pro Rodeo returns for the 63rd year to celebrate the 4th of July weekend with all the favorite rodeo fans in Sacramento. Don’t miss out on this family summertime tradition featuring live rodeo action, high-flying motocross, a colorful Painted Ladies horse team showing off their skills to music, a silver dollar dig for those under 8 to hit the jackpot, and much more.
Each evening of the Folsom Pro Rodeo, a group of brave cowboys and cowgirls test their skills by riding sheep. They attempt to stay on board with a handful of wool while the sheep steps out of the chute and often just lays down. It’s a crowd favorite as they cheer for all of the contestants. Mutton busting is open to 5 to 6-year-old youths. This family-friendly event is designed to celebrate our heritage and the nation’s birthday!

Lincoln 4th of July Celebration kicks off with a pancake breakfast at the Lincoln Veterans Hall sponsored by Native Sons and Daughters of the Golden West. The 4th of July Parade, presented by the Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce, will start at 9 am. The annual parade includes marching bands, floats, drill teams, and patriotism like you’ve never seen. It makes Lincoln proud each year to present such an outstanding event.
The 20-minute fireworks show begins around 9:30 pm right after the Lincoln Potters vs. Bay Area Admirals baseball game. Thousands come to see the display, a fitting tribute and end to a perfect day in Lincoln. One of the most grassroots fundraisers, the community sustains this event with donations and sponsorships. The annual fireworks spectacular costs about $1,000 per minute!

Bring a blanket or chairs for the family and come celebrate Independence Day at The Grounds with the 4th of July fireworks show in the Sacramento region. Gates open at 4 p.m., and fireworks will begin between 9:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Seating at the grandstand in the All-American Raceway is first come, first serve. Get ready for one of the biggest 4th of July events in the Sacramento area as Elk Grove Salutes the Red, White, and Blue at this 28th annual event, presented by Sky River Casino with so many fun activities for kids in celebration of America’s Independence Day and the Elk Grove City’s birthday. Vendors will open at 5 pm. A Let Freedom Ride bike parade will start at 6 pm, followed by the Agents of Rock Concert. Sing along as they jam on the best pop songs of those two amazing decades.
A “firework spectacular” set to the soundtrack from 93.7 The River begins at 9:40 pm. Alcohol, personal fireworks, and pets (excluding service animals) are strictly prohibited. The Sacramento Regional Transit District (SacRT) offers free transit service to Thursday’s 4th of July festivities inside Elk Grove Park.

One of the most popular ways to spend the 4th of July in Sacramento is the Fourth on the Field celebration at Sutter Health Park, presented by Xfinity! Guests can check out various vendors and experiences for all age groups, fun contests throughout the night, including a potato sack race, water balloon toss, and pie-eating contest, food trucks lining the warning track of the field and on the concourse, a kids’ splash pad and play structure, the On Deck Shop, and so much more!
Bring your whole family to the famed ballpark to witness a pompous performance by Sacramento Philarmonic & Opera and catch the River Cats. The evening culminates at 9:30 pm with a unique fireworks display, choreographed to the live orchestra, illuminating the sky with patriotic glory.
