Do you want your child to be safe around any body of water? Bring them out to the Central Aquatics Complex. Each summer, the pool is open to the public for swimming. It’s nice because it’s not just a swimming pool, they also have slides. Kids will receive the best education in water safety stroke techniques and get them on the fast track to having fun in the pool.
If you go swimming, bring some chairs, as there is not always a place to sit (unless you don’t mind the ground). You can also reserve a space for parties (outside of regular swim hours). If you stay for a long time, bring some food and drinks. You can also buy from their snack area, but it’s pretty basic. Bring your family out for a relaxing day by the pool!
