Come celebrate Californias biodiversity this year during the week of September 2nd-10th on the American River Parkway! California Biodiversity Day takes place on September 7th of each year, marking the anniversary of the launch of the California Biodiversity Initiative in 2018. This annual event celebrates our states exceptional biodiversity, while also encouraging actions to protect it.
The Parkway Foundation will be promoting California Diversity Week with the Find 30 Species for CA 30×30Â challenge! Particapte in this family friendly challenge through iNaturalist by documenting 30 wild species between September 2nd and September 10th. Participating is easy!
