Family Story Hour in the Library takes place on every 3rd Saturday of each month from 10:00-11:00 am. Please register for as many dates as you’re interested in attending. All are welcome!
Gather ’round as a family to make crafts and hear stories while nestled in the 2nd Floor Library at Mechanics’ Institute! We’ll read 2-3 stories appropriate for children age 8 and younger, plus make a fun craft to take home.
While our Family Story Hour programming ends at 11:00 am, families are highly encouraged to explore the library with their kiddos. We recommend browsing the recommended books table and visiting the Universal Books section, finding something appropriate to read with their children. Non-member families are welcome to stay until noon.
