When we think “Mexico,” we go to our happy place. A place that involves fun music, strong margaritas, a mischievous grin, and, most importantly, fresh food. And when we say fresh, we mean really fresh, from scratch, all the time. At Chevys, our goal is to share our happy place and fresh food with you. To give you a mini Mexican vacation, because let`s be honest: you need it. But if you really want to get know us, come on by. We want to get to know you too.
We promise to give you fresh flour tortillas made to order, hand rolled tamales, guacamole mashed right at your table, hot and sizzling fajitas, and pico de gallo chopped fresh each day. We could have chosen an easier pledge, like serving “kinda fresh, semi-homemade food, some of the time,” but then we`d be like everyone else and that would be zero fun.

Wishing Well Preschool`s rich and varied program guides each child through readiness skills which form a solid foundation for learning. The day is filled with learning, play, art, music, science, drama, nature studies and other activities that are carefully balanced to allow a child’s interests and curiosity to flourish and prepare them for their continuing education.

Sunrise Montessori Preschool was started in 1980. Anne Binder, President and Director, has been with Sunrise Montessori since 1985. Anne Binder purchased Sunrise Montessori in 1992. As the mother of two daughters, Anne understands the importance and value of finding a program that provides a warm and loving environment for the child and a sense of security and peace of mind for the parent.

Our program is owned and operated by sisters and business partners, Kim Grant and Jennifer Hawkins. With over 25 years of experience as an educator in the Field of Early Childhood Education and 9 of those years as Director of a prominent private preschool, it was a great excitement that we opened The Sunflower School in Roseville.

Within the Montessori environment, the child feels empowered to develop. The materials within the classroom are chosen specifically for the developmental level of the child. Self-contained activities are placed on low shelves, so that the child can easily utilize them.

Our Outdoor Environment consists of age-appropriate Playground Equipment set on Recycled Tire Playground Tiles that can withstand a 6 ft fall without injury. The outdoors provide a year round environment, for the children to explore. We also provide large shade umbrellas to protect the children`s skin from harmful sunburns and skin cancer.

Since 1995 the Granite Bay School House has been guiding young children. Thanks to our strong educational curriculum, outstanding staff and commitment to early childhood learning and development, GBSH stands out from other preschools. We offer a specialized preschool, pre-K and kindergarten program for children between the ages of 2 1/2 and fully potty trained through Kindergarten.
