Krieger is the largest of three locations and has nine classrooms: four (2) for younger infants, two (2) for older infants and toddlers, and five (5) for preschool. Monthly fees include a daily balanced and healthy breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack supplied by UCLA Dining Services.

The Krieger Center implements a developmentally appropriate curriculum based on the view that children learn best when actively exploring a carefully constructed environment with loving, professionally prepared teachers. They offer “Pathways to Science,” a specialized, staff-developed curriculum that fosters children’s critical thinking.

ECE UV is co-located with University Village Apartments and University Parents Nursery School. Student families are eligible for tuition assistance from the State of California, and University Village Apartments residents receive priority for enrollment at this location.

Faculty, staff, student, and community families are enrolled here, although most are student families. The University Village Center is a mid-size facility (approximately 115 children).
