There’s a new Halloween fest down in Long Beach this year, and it came by way of Shaq—yes, Shaquille O’Neal. Shaqtoberfest will take place next to the famously haunted Queen Mary, and there will be everything from a pumpkin patch street carnival with games and rides to trick-or-treating stations and more. The festival will be family-friendly during the day and turn into one geared towards adults at night.

During the day, Shaq Diesel’s Pumpkin Patch offers a traditional experience where kids of all ages can explore the attraction by stopping at one of the many trick-or-treat stations, pumpkin sculptures, or inflatable play zones. Enjoy Spooky (But Safe) Trick or Treating in a neighborhood of Victorian manors and haunted houses, where the neighbors are “dying” to celebrate Halloween. Located within the gated, safe, and secure “neighborhood” of Heritage Square Museum, Cemetery Lane features 13 themed trick-r-treat stops and other surprises for kids of all ages.

While intended for all ages, the event is less scary during our daytime hours and gets spookier as the night continues. Cemetery Lane is an outdoor museum of eight homes built during the Victorian Era, some allegedly haunted and definitely more so during this Halloween event.
