The Bates Nut Farm Pumpkin Patch has been open for over 50 years and is a serious San Diego favorite. This is the ultimate fall farm experience. From pony rides to hayrides, a petting zoo, a corn maze, and the good ol’ pumpkins, this is one of the oldest and the best traditional pumpkin patches in San Diego. Visit with mini-donkeys, goats, sheep, llamas, pigs, emus, chickens, peacocks, ducks, geese & more!

In addition, Saturdays and Sundays at Bates include live entertainment from 12 pm to 3 pm, BBQ, kettle corn, food trucks, rock climb, bounce, slide, and other family-friendly events. A farm stall also sells what the farm produces, a lot of nuts, jams, fruit, and fudge.
