ABC Tree Farms has eight locations in the greater Santa Clara area. This family-owned farm has about 23 lot and retail locations all over the state of California. Each location may slightly be different in terms of activities, hours of operation, and pricing. Check out their website for more information.

Admission and parking are free but other games, activities, and paint-ball range tickets are priced separately. Outside food and beverage are not allowed since they have food kiosks available within the area. Dogs are not allowed to prevent bad interaction with other farm animals. And since pumpkin patches mostly involve kids and are a family event, smoking and vaping are not allowed on the premises.

At ABC Tree Farms, the health and safety of guests and employees are their top priority. In response to COVID-19, they are in frequent contact with state and local health authorities to stay up to date with the current local ordinances so that your experience at ABC Tree Farms will be safe and as pleasant as possible.

Here is the plan they’ve devised based on all the regulations we are REQUIRED to follow due to County and State Regulations and how they plan to make things work smoothly and safely for everyone:

1. Bring a mask to wear.
2. They will have portable toilets on site along with a hand washing station. Please wash your hands and use hand sanitizer after use.
3. Social distancing is encouraged, even in the pumpkin patch, Christmas tree lot, and parking lot.

Buy your ticket and ride a train at the locally grown Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad in Lost Gatos for a 15-minute journey through both parks, departing from its charming train depot. And this October, kids and adults fall in line to embark on The Pumpkin Train, a special excursion that will run every weekend from 11 AM to 4:15 PM. Riders will travel to a pumpkin patch to pick from one of the hundreds of locally grown gourds. In addition to the train ride and pumpkin patch, the ticket price includes a ride on the historic W.E. “Bill” Mason Carousel. Come celebrate your Halloween with the whole family at Billy Jones!

Established in 1980 as a small, organic family farm on California’s Central Coast, Jacobs Farms has partnered with Martial Cottle Family Ranch to open its doors to Santa Clara County. Kids and the whole family will enjoy the wagon ride tour around the farm and a walk through the 2.5-acre corn maze. You will learn about the history of the park, the importance of organic food production, and all about the different activities. Jacobs Farm at Martial Cottle will also be a center for innovation and learning about organic farming, conservation, and food production.

One of the must-go pumpkin patches this Halloween in Santa Clara County during the fall season is the annual pumpkin patch event organized by Moreland Educational Foundation. MEF Pumpkin Patch will start the second week of October featuring the haunted trail, carnival games, petting zoos, pumpkin carving, and their newest addition this year – Monster Mash Costume Ball!

Proceeds for this event will go to Moreland Educational Foundation to provide funding for music, sports, art, and science in the Moreland School District.
