If you haven’t already, this is the year to explore Imaginarium 360 at Cal Expo. In 2024, Imaginarium celebrates a decade of holidays at Cal Expo in Sacramento.
Returning Features:
New immersive activity rooms include laser mazes, glow in the dark, interactive art, bouncing balls, and ball pits.
There’s nothing better to get you into the holiday spirit than a visit to the Imaginarium 360 “Holiday Magic” at Cal Expo. Whether you want to enjoy hot cocoa as you wander through holiday-themed attractions, including giant Christmas Trees or scenes from Nutcracker, frolic in the snow without a trip to the Sierras, or get your picture taken with Santa, Imaginarium is the place to be during the holiday season. Make your visit part of your holiday tradition.
The unique photo boxes and mind-bending mirror rooms allow you to create and capture memories with backdrops (real and projected) you’ll find nowhere else. Sit on the crescent moon, throne, or swing next to one of the Imaginarium characters. Step into a kaleidoscope of mirror chambers, where you will be mesmerized by the most incredible images—a journey into a realm filled with wonder and fascination only at Imaginarium.
One of the things guests enjoy about their visit to Imaginarium 360 at Cal Expo is their opportunity to go ice skating. The ice rink will be indoors this year, but you’ll still feel the energy of being surrounded by the spectacular beauty of holiday lights just a few steps away. Whether it’s your first time on skates or if you’re a wanna-be professional skater, make this part of your tradition as well, making your time at Imaginarium all the more special.
Follow the paths and wind through our enchanted forests and beautiful gardens filled with stunning flowers of all varieties, including tens of thousands of LED roses. It’s equally romantic for couples and fun for kids, presenting many opportunities for picture-perfect photos. And around any corner, you may come face to face with larger-than-life storybook characters and fantastical characters.
One of the things that makes “Holiday Magic” stand out from other holiday light venues is the carnival. It truly rounds out the holiday experience. Guests of all ages find rides to make them smile, laugh, or scream with delight–from kiddie rides to family rides to thrill and spectacular rides. They have it all!
Three performances each day of three different entertainment options. Laugh and clap as you witness the antics of the Pirates of the Columbian Caribbean. Be amazed as a car transforms into a giant robot known as Big Bee. And sit on the edge of your seat as you’re wowed by the aerial artist or blown away by the motorcycle riders performing in the Globe of Death. It’s all part of the show at Imaginarium.
