At Steve & Kate’s Camp, they put kids in charge. When you trust kids, they trust themselves. They’ve let kids control their learning experience. As they try, fail, and learn on their own, they learn to trust their own judgment and tackle the challenges of an ever-changing world with creativity and confidence. Their job is to get out of their way, cheerlead creative risks, and provide just enough guidance to ensure nobody does anything senseless.

Campers will design their day in real-time by choosing from various activities. Campers ramp up and wind down with recreational choices in the early morning and late afternoon. For most of the day, children choose from the activities listed. While they can’t say precisely what the day will look like, one thing is sure: The campers are in control.
