One of the oldest local farms in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Andreotti Family Farm is the best place for fruit picking with kids. The farm is over 90 years old and produces just about every winter vegetable you can imagine. Additionally, they offer a You Pick Sunflower Field and Pumpkin Patch in the Fall.
Andreotti Family Farms has several other fun events planned for this cozy season. Their Pumpkin Patch will be open to the public very soon, and the sunflower field will be turned into a fun corn maze. Brave visitors can even go at night and experience the haunted corn maze in the dark.

Head 60 miles east from San Francisco to Brentwood, where you can find Bacchini’s Fruit Tree, a fruit stand and u-pick farm that has been open since 1945. Fruit picking with kids at this family farm has become a tradition for many San Francisco area families. Little ones may need a boost, but their low trees make it easy for parents and older kids to pick.
Each year, they are open during May and June to offer fresh fruit grown in their orchard. They have u-pick white peaches, Kiowa blackberries, sweet cherries, white rainier cherries, olallieberries, pluots, Santa Rosa Plum, white nectarines, apricots, loquats, raw honey, and walnuts.

Come check out the 35 acres of U-Pick Cherries. Chavez U-Pick Cherries is solely a U-Pick Cherry Orchard. They have lapin cherries and a few other types. They also have a few ladders here and there, but you don’t need them. The branches are so low on most trees that even your most minor child should be able to fill their bag.
Chavez U-Pick Cherries strives to provide the best customer service and a memorable experience while also supplying the finest cherries in town. This lovely spot offers free admission, buckets, and low trees for picking cherries.

Enjoy a fun-filled day of cherry-picking at Cherry Time. The cherry season is open from the beginning of May until they’re sold out (usually the 2nd weekend of June). They offer U-Pick and Pre-Picked Cherries and local honey made on the farm. They also provide bags and ladders; you may bring your own buckets and baskets.

They are open for u-pick on Sundays only during August, September, and sometimes October. Chileno also offers super-cute animal tours when they let kids feed the sheep and cows apples.

This organic farm is a great little gem in the East Bay where we can pick our own produce. The farm hosts weekly u-picks on weekends, offering different sizes to meet everyone’s needs.
When you visit the farm to u-pick fresh organic produce, don’t forget to step into their shed to see what treasures are to be found there. They typically have dried herbs, grains, and seeds packed up and ready for purchase. The staff is very kind and knowledgeable of all the plants on site.

Victoria Island Farms opens a portion of its blueberry fields to the public for U-Pick at the farm visits and the purchase of pre-packed fresh blueberries. Local products, including honey, pistachios, and almonds, are available for sale at the on-site Sabbatical Distillery, which is open year-round.
