When kids attend Camp CaHiTo spring break camps in San Diego, they discover a fantastic 7.5-acre reserve in Balboa Park. They use the well-established curriculum from Camp Fire to facilitate outdoor adventures, social growth, and decision-making skills. Campers will participate in various activities- age-appropriate games, hikes, and crafts determined by the counselors and what the group likes to do. Activities include Stem activities, archery, hiking, arts and crafts, scavenger hunts, and more!

All Campers will be in small groups of children of the same age, with whom they will spend the entire session. Camp CaHiTo is a “group-centered” camp – meaning that campers have the same counselor and peer group for the camp session. Group-centered camping gives children the best opportunity to experience the powerful feeling of belonging, to make and keep new friends, and to connect with their counselors. Camp Kroc is bringing the fun back to spring. Right now, it’s hard to be a parent–you want to make sure your child is safe, but you also want them to be able to socialize, make friends, and have fun. Your child can do both at The Kroc Center’s new engaging camp environment. Parents will feel a sense of relief knowing their camper gets to be a kid again in the safest place possible. Kids develop social skills by spending time with new people and asking questions about the new concepts they explore.

They offer different types of camps for kids of all ages, including Kroc Adventures, Pee Wee Camps, STEM Camps, Sports Camps, Art Camps, Creative Camps, and Junior Leader Camps. Kids will be moving from swimming, skating, and sports on our recreation field all week. KidWonder Camp is designed to give your child a great experience as they engage in American Ninja Warrior training, gymnastics, arts and crafts, capture the flag, team building, character building, and more. Their coaches will train your child to overcome obstacles and work together to accomplish individual or group goals. KidWonder emphasizes character development focusing on five main qualities; Honor, Integrity, Responsibility, Perseverance, and Courage.

In addition to children participating in activities, they will develop and improve their ability to interact socially with peers throughout the program. KidWonder Spring Break Camps are the only location for real American ninja warrior training in San Diego. San Diego Children’s Discovery Museum invites excited entomologists for a week of insect exploration this spring. Campers will enjoy learning about creepy crawly creatures and participating in fun hands-on activities and crafts. Through daily hands-on activities, campers will be introduced to life cycles and bug jobs like pollination and get the chance to explore the museum gardens to look for bug homes.

Each day of camp includes access to Museum exhibits, hands-on exploration with trained education staff, and an opportunity to make new friends. Plunge and Play offers a unique spring break camp experience in San Diego for kids ages 5 to 12. The activity-based curriculum is focused on arts, science, and physical education, with plenty of fun activities in and out of the swimming pool. Their program reinforces essential social, listening, and motor skills in an interactive fun learning experience. All campers are required to have a current Belmont Park annual pass.

Positive Adventures Camps utilize the great outdoors, adventure sports, and team activities to provide unique opportunities that create a platform for fun, growth, and personal achievement. Its one-week day camps are great for introducing youngsters to activities like climbing, kayaking, snorkeling, and surfing in a welcoming, non-threatening fashion. Campers meet at different locations throughout the week.

Positive Adventures provide one staff member for every five campers, which allows each child to get sufficient support and attention from their staff. Spend spring break at the Fleet Science Center to explore topics like Gooey Science, Cool Chemistry, and LEGO Engineers in their full-day camps, where new adventures await each day. Kids in grades 1–6 can enjoy various fun and educational science activities. Explore the science of everything slimy, sticky, and ooze-tastic—like oobleck and hagfish slime. Create all kinds of gooey solutions to take home. Get creative with LEGO® BricQMotion Essentials while exploring STEM concepts in three dimensions.

Campers can also learn cool chemistry tricks to let you marvel at dry ice, examine acids and bases, and characterize chemical reactions to build your knowledge base in this fun, messy favorite. While in camps, educators will take children on walks throughout the park and encourage outdoor activities throughout the week. Spring Camp at Lawrence Family JCC will be filled with adventure and fun. They offer an exciting variety of activities for every interest in a supportive and enriching environment. A camp day includes outdoor play, group games, swimming, crafts, science activities, and so much more. For the camper that loves to draw, sketch, and sculpt, they have an Art Mania camp that will teach students basic drawing skills across many different styles and disciplines in popular art, basic sculpting skills, and many other artistic skills.

Kids can join Star Wars Cooking, a new version of its time-tested cooking camp inspired by the classic Sci-Fi franchise. They also have Robotics that will teach campers the fundamental concepts of robotics as they make basic robots to perform various functions. Spring break is coming, and the Living Coast Discovery Center has super fun, super educational day camps for kids (4-12) and bio days for teens (13-18).
